Residents call this North Staffordshire care home a ‘five star hotel’

A Leek care home was given a perfect 10 rating by residents’ families. Opened in April 2021, Hen Cloud House is a 66-bed care home based in Buxton Road.

Building on its success, the retirement home now offers several job opportunities. Combining luxurious surroundings with the highest standards of care, Hen Cloud House recently received a perfect 10 out of 10 rating from carehome.co.uk, the UK’s number one care home rating website. The score, consisting of a series of notices from family members of residents.

One review said: ‘Staff rolled out the red carpet and provided a welcome pack on arrival. The whole looks like a 5 star hotel. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and invested in helping my dad. We can visit at any time and are always welcome. Nothing is too much trouble – I wish I could move in!

Hen Cloud House is one of 12 Borough Care houses located in Stockport and Staffordshire. For nearly 30 years, Borough Care has aimed to encourage and support its residents to live their best lives, regardless of age, health condition or ability. Hen Cloud House is currently recruiting new members to join its team, with the coveted role of Care Home Business Manager up for grabs. Borough Care is looking for an experienced individual to continue to lead Hen Cloud House with excellence, the role offering a competitive salary plus a bonus system.

Borough Care also offers the exciting role of Active Lifestyle Facilitator (ALF). ALFs are like social butterflies and event managers rolled into one.
